Rebecca Blodgett
My name is Rebecca, and I am a senior majoring in Child Development and Family Relations. In addition to my role as a Peer Advisor and Academic Coach, I also work as a tutor for the Tutor Program. I also studied abroad in Chengdu, China for a year and was involved in Alternative Breaks during my sophomore year.
As a first-generation college student, I know how hard it can be to figure out all the “college stuff” on my own. That’s why I think it is important to connect students with resources, because there are so many opportunities students can take advantage if someone takes the time to tell students about their options. I feel as though Time Management and Organization are my strongest study skills. I have balanced working 2-3 jobs and going to school since I was a freshman, so I am glad to offer help in that area of college success, too!
