Tips to help you succeed as a Graduate Student in the School of Economics

Regularly attend classes, ask questions, complete assignments on time, and (if needed) visit professors during their office hours
Get to know your fellow students, the faculty and your academic advisor
Attend research seminars hosted by SOE and other units on campus
Build skills outside the classroom, e.g., computer programming
Hang out in Winslow Hall, where you can benefit from informal interactions with others
Become acquainted with program requirements and meet all deadlines for submitting required forms
