The Maine Initiative for Neurologic Aging & Health (MAINAH) is a statewide interest group for research in healthy brain aging, memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and related cognitive disorders.
This event will bring together members of MAINAH, the community, and leading brain health professionals for an update on current work in Maine and the possible role you can play in advancing research, and new information on healthy brain aging.
This year, join us for a fascinating and informative discussion on topics related to brain aging. Our host, Cliff Singer, MD, DFAPA, AGSF, medical director, Northern Light Memory and Aging at Acadia Hospital, will discuss the new blood tests for Alzheimer’s disease. Special guest Alaina Reagan, Ph.D. from The Jackson Laboratory will discuss how the eye can be a “window to the brain” – how eye imaging to examine patterns in the retina have the potential to predict vascular or neuronal damage in the brain. There will be time for questions, so please join us and take part in the conversation!
If you have any questions about the webinar or the MAINAH program, email mainah@northernlight.org. We look forward to you joining us on Tuesday, October 28!
