A VEMI lab tour presents visitors with the latest in human technology interfaces focusing on inclusive and bio-inspired technologies. Each demonstration shows the latest research in autonomous vehicles, spatial navigation, human computer interaction, blind and visually impaired (BVI) assistance, virtual/augmented reality, and bioengineered containment detection. Your group will experience virtual worlds and autonomous driving simulations, all of which were created by VEMI students. VEMI provides a hands-on learning environment which augments a student’s traditional education experience to prepare them for future careers. The VEMI lab is not handicap accessible.
Tours of the VEMI facilities are on Friday, April 14, 2023, from Noon – 3 pm, every 30 minutes. Register here.
