Bio: Dr. Klein develops and assists with educational programming and provides leadership for applied research focused 4-H STEM programming. She also teaches in the College of Education and Human Development. Vanessa is an early career science education scholar, with a research focus on environmental education and teacher education. She has seven years of teaching and research experience in higher education at three different universities which encompasses STEM education from early childhood through secondary contexts. Within PK-12 education, she has eight years of science teaching experience which includes informal STEM education and as well as two years as a public high school science teacher in rural Ohio.
