Bio: Jessica Ludders is an adjunct faculty member with the instructional technology master’s program, a collaboration between the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development, the University of Maine at Farmington, and University of Southern Maine. She has taught English at the high school and undergraduate level since 1999. In 2005, she began teaching online and developed a new passion for kinds of teaching that had not existed when she first became a teacher, and soon moved all of her teaching to the online format. Ludders was named the 2015 Virtual Teacher of the Year for North Carolina because of her work in teaching and creating professional development experiences for the North Carolina Virtual Public School.
