Ryan J. Dippre (he, him) is Associate Professor of English and Director of College Composition at the University of Maine. He is the co-chair of the Writing through the Lifespan Collaboration; the co-edior of the Lifespan Writing Research book series at the WAC Clearinghouse; the Editor-in-Chief of Northwords: The Maine English Journal. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Research and Theory Methodologies, and the Executive Board of the Maine Council of English Language Arts. He is a graduate of Wilkes University (B.A., M.S.) and the University of California, Santa Barbara (M.A., Ph.D.).
