Jason Aylmer

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment contact for students applying from UMaine, UMA, UMPI, UMFK, and UMM
• Recruitment contact for most other domestic applicants
• Grad coordinator for the MAIS and IPhD programs

Bio:

I graduated with a B.A. in English here at UMaine, then went on to complete a post-grad certificate program in screenwriting at UCLA, and now recently finished a M.A. in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing, back here at UMaine. After completing a year of service with AmeriCorps in Bangor, I now have been working in the Graduate School since 2019 and, when not on campus, enjoy ferrying our family of seven to various New England adventures.
