A Celebration of teaching

CITL is excited for the opportunity to gather together and to say “thank you” to the dedicated faculty and graduate students who have invested time towards innovation and teaching excellence.

We look forward to taking a moment from the busyness of finals week to acknowledge your hard work, support your colleagues, and laugh together.

The 1st Annual SEATLE Awards will be held on Tuesday May 6th from 1:00-2:30pm. Light refreshments and reception followed by the awards presentation at 2:00pm.

The SEATLE will be given out to selected UMaine faculty to celebrate their dedication to teaching.

who is eligible for a SEATLE award?

CITL staff will nominate faculty who have worked with CITL in various capacities. Awardees will be notified if they are receiving an award ahead of time, along with their department chair.

Award recipients will also be highlighted in the “Faculty Spotlight” on the homepage of the CITL website throughout the next academic year.
