A Celebration of teaching

On Tuesday, May 6th, the CITL community gathered together and said “thank you” to fourteen dedicated faculty and graduate students who have invested time towards innovation and teaching excellence.

The 1st Annual SEATLE Awardees are listed below.

The SEATLE Award is a Seal and turtle hybrid animal. It is sitting on top of a trophy base and the background is black and gold.
The SEATLE will be given out to selected UMaine faculty to celebrate their dedication to teaching.

who is eligible for a SEATLE award?

CITL staff will nominate faculty who have worked with CITL in various capacities. Awardees will be notified if they are receiving an award ahead of time, along with their department chair.

Award recipients will also be highlighted in the “Faculty Spotlight” on the homepage of the CITL website throughout the next academic year.
