Explore the landscape of alternative grading approaches at the 2025 Grading Conference bookended by meetings with colleagues to discuss the conference and findings.

Hybrid Meeting Dates: June 9th and June 16th from 1:00-3:00pm
Virtual Conference Dates: June 11-13th 2025
HOW DOES THIS MINI-CoP WORK?
- Submit the application form to be registered for the conference. We pay for your registration fee!
- (Required) Commit to meeting on Monday June 9th (hybrid) to discuss your interests and goals in attending the conference. Outline what 3 sessions you plan to attend.
- (Encouraged) Join us in Fernald Hall to watch one or more of keynote speakers together. (These keynotes are tentatively scheduled for 12:00-1:00pm). Light refreshments will provided for those who attend:
- Wednesday June 11th @ 12:00pm: Asao B. Inoue, Professor of Rhetoric and Composition in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University.
- Thursday June 12th @ 12:00pm: Jeff Anderson, Instructor in the Department of Mathematics at Foothill College
- Friday June 13th @ 12:00pm: Eden Tanner, Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Mississippi
- (Required) Complete a post-conference reflection.
- (Required) Commit to meeting on Monday June 16th (hybrid) to share your reflections, insights and design an action plan for implementing alternative grading approaches.
- Receive a stipend for full participation in addition to your conference registration.
