Virtual Event
Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TiLT) is a set of teaching strategies that focus on making transparent to students why and how they are learning and engaging with the course content and each other. Students learning from faculty using transparent strategies learn better, gain better understanding of how they learn, and are more likely to stay in college. Faculty benefit by having improved student work coupled with less time spent answering numerous questions! In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the concepts of and research on transparent design, then you will work on a chosen assignment from your course to improve transparency.
