  • Food pantries – Current UMaine students and employees can utilize the Black Bear Exchange on campus. Schedule and information on the BBE Page.

  • Food pantries – If you live outside of Old Town and Orono, you are able to utilize food pantries in your area. You can find a list here faithlinkinginaction.org. (If you live in Old Town or Orono, the BBE is your community pantry.). There is also a list on the State of Maine website.

  • UMaine Students – you can request emergency meal swipes so you can get some meals in the Dining Halls. Complete the very brief application here. If you need more than the 14 initial meals, contact Student Life to discuss your situation.

  • Free meals – Calendar of regular free community meals is available here faithlinkinginaction.org.
    You can contact your town/city office to inquire about other resources available in your community.
