Jasmine Olivares

I graduated in the Spring of 2021 with a Bachelors in Social Work (BSW) at the University of Maine. I began my Upward Bound journey with my Social Work field placement in 2020, and since then had temporary employment with Upward Bound. In Fall of 2023, I officially took on the position of Program Counselor. In the Winter of 2024, I officially enrolled in the University of Southern Maine’s Master’s in Planning, and Project Management program. I have a passion for education and access, and hope to focus my work on coastal and rural educational access. In my free time, you can find me painting, watching movies, or shopping in and around Orono! I have a cat named Mina who is 6 years old and incredibly friendly!
