Faculty Award in Finance – Aidan Michaud (2023)

This award is chosen by the faculty in our majors, concentrations, and our MBA program based on criteria determined by each faculty group. Aidan Michaud is a SPIFFY alumni who has held many roles such as Director of Performance for two years, Sector Head of Healthcare, and Market Analyst for Consumer Staples.

This award is chosen by the faculty in our majors, concentrations, and our MBA program based on criteria determined by each faculty group. Jennifer Dean is a SPIFFY alumni who was a Market Analyst for Financials.

Citizen Scholar Award – Ethan Howe (2023)

This award is given to a student who exemplifies a spirit of outreach and uses what they’re learning in the classroom to improve the world around them. Ethan Howe is a SPIFFY alumni who has held positions such as Sector Head of Financials, Real Estate, and Materials.

Academic Achievement Award in Finance – Jack Lalime (2023)

This award is given to one student in each of our four majors and our MBA program for having the highest GPA. Jack Lalime is a SPIFFY alumni who was the Sector Head of Healthcare.

Academic Achievement Award in Management – Shelby Philips (2023)

This award is given to one student in each of our four majors and our MBA program for having the highest GPA. Shelby Philips is a SPIFFY alumni who was a Market Analyst for Materials.

Outstanding Undergraduate Student – Shelby Philips (2023)

This award is given to the Maine Business School undergraduate student with the highest GPA. This award is recognized by the Office of the President. Shelby Philips is a SPIFFY alumni who was a Market Analyst for Materials.

G.A.M.E Forum – 1st Place Value Portfolio (2018)

SPIFFY, the Maine Business School’s student investment club, has won first-place in a worldwide portfolio competition.

The competition was part of the Quinnipiac Global Asset Management Education (GAME) VIII forum March 22–24 in New York City, in which 1,500 students from more than 160 colleges and universities had the opportunity to interact with industry leaders and learn best practices in investment strategy.

SPIFFY wins portfolio competition
