Casey Faulkingham, MSW
CASEY Faulkingham, MSW (she/her) is an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Maine School of Social Work, where she teaches graduate-level courses on intimate partner violence and on developing and funding social service programs. She brings nearly 14 years of experience in the movement to end domestic violence and currently serves as the Director of Development and Engagement at Partners for Peace, the domestic violence resource center for Penobscot and Piscataquis counties.
Casey’s career has included a range of roles across the field, including direct support to survivors, prevention and youth education, professional training, support groups, children’s programming, and nonprofit development. In 2021, she was honored with the Field Instructor of the Year award from the UMaine School of Social Work for her outstanding support of MSW and BSW interns at Partners for Peace.
Casey holds both her BSW (’12) and MSW (’21) from the University of Maine, with academic focuses on global social work, public policy, and nonprofit management. Her teaching is deeply rooted in real-world experience and guided by the belief that the most meaningful learning happens in partnership. She strives to create a classroom culture that values the lived experiences and wisdom students bring, fostering openness, growth, and shared learning.
