Updated NIH Research Security Training Requirements – April 2026
In late March 2026, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued notice NOT-OD-26-057 (external link) which implements the research security training requirement, and individual certification, for applications submitted for due dates on or after May 25, 2026.
As a reminder, effective October 1, 2025, NIH previously relayed a requirement to train Senior/Key Personnel on Other Support Disclosure requirements per the July 17, 2025 notice NOT-OD-25-133 (external link).
