Maine Day is all about service
In 1935 President Arthur Hauck inaugurated MAINE DAY, a day set aside for “spring clean-up” of our campus. Classes are canceled on that day. The entire campus community – students, faculty, staff, and alumni – pitches in to spruce up the campus.
The Museum will be closed for Maine Day. Student volunteers will be cleaning up the Museum campus, spring cleaning the buildings and preparing the garden beds for planting.
