July 6 Event: Bugs on the Bog!
Join us on Saturday July 6 to explore insects along the Orono Bog Boardwalk. We will meet at 10 AM at the cabin at the beginning of the boardwalk.
Bring anything you would need for a light hike: bug spray, comfortable shoes, rain gear if it looks like it’s going to be a little wet.
The walk will be led by Jennifer Lund, the State Apiarist with the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry. Ms Lund received her Master’s degree in Entomology from the University of Maine and has over 25 years of entomological experience.
