Speech-Language Pathology Accreditation: The Master of Arts education program in speech-language pathology at the University of Maine is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Maine’s School of Forestry, leading to the professional degree in forestry are accredited by the Society of American Foresters (SAF). The Council for Higher Education Accreditation recognizes SAF as the specialized accredited body for forestry education in the United States.

B.S. in Sustainable Materials and Technology Accreditation: Degree programs leading to the BS in Sustainable Materials and Technology (formerly Forest Operations, Bioproducts and Bioenergy) at the University of Maine are accredited by the Society of Wood Science and Technology (SWST) until December 31, 2024.

School of Nursing Accreditation: The B.S. Nursing and the M.S. Nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Maine Approval: The BSN and MSN programs are also approved by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
