Phi Kappa Phi Dissertation Fellowship
Phi Kappa Phi is an honor society that started at UMaine. Students are invited to become members by the local chapter and gain access to a number of scholarship opportunities. The fellowship supports students in the dissertation writing stage of doctoral study. Awards are for 12 months of dissertation writing. All pre-dissertation requirements should be met by the application deadline, including approval of the dissertation proposal.
Benefits:
- Up to $10,000 in funding for doctoral candidates in their first doctoral program who are completing dissertations
To apply for this program, students must:
- Be an active member of Phi Kappa Phi
- Be enrolled in an accredited, doctoral-granting U.S. institution
- Have the endorsement of their dissertation chair
