UMaine’s Office of Major Scholarships and Office of Research Development will host a virtual “Ask Us Anything” event for undergraduate and graduate students looking to learn about external fellowships to fund their graduate studies, research (including study/research abroad), and doctoral dissertation completion. The registration form for this event will allow students to submit questions beforehand for us to answer at the event. We will also take questions during the event about the fellowships noted below and about other opportunities students have identified.
Possible fellowships to be discussed include:
- The Hertz Fellowship, DOE Computational Science Graduate Fellowship and the DoD NDSEG to fund graduate studies in STEM fields.
- The Fulbright U.S Student Program to fund study and research abroad.
- The Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Innovation Fellowships, NSF DDRIG, AAUW Dissertation Fellowship and more to fund dissertation research and completion.
Students from all disciplines and years of graduate study are welcome!
