Collaborative Research
The Lobster Institute coordinates research in partnership with UMaine faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students. We work closely with industry organizations, non-profits, and research institutions throughout the Northeast and beyond to help identify research needs, identify funding sources, and coordinate research activities. Central to all our research is an emphasis on the needs of the lobster industry. Here is a snapshot of some of our projects:
