The University of Maine is a public research university in the Northeast of the United States that offers excellent academic and research opportunities on a safe and welcoming campus.

UMaine, home to more than 12,000 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, combines the opportunities of a large institution with the safety and friendliness of a small campus. Our students work alongside their professors to conduct real-world research, and take part in co-ops and internships that prepare them for their future careers.
