Why ISA?
I want to create an environment that will be encourage international students to demonstrate their skills inside and outside the club, such as giving them the opportunity to talk about different things of their interest such, games, music talent, leadership, management and other skills they own. I also would want to encourage international students to seek their passions in other clubs such as encouragement for Student Government for anyone who is interested in pubic speaking or political advocacy.

Why ISA?
I wanted to serve on the ISA executive because I value the international community at UMaine and also want to develop my leadership and organizational skills while working with other motivated students. This year, I would like to keep creating a welcoming space where students from all backgrounds feel connected, like other ISA executives have done. Also, I hope to accomplish small but meaningful things, such as making new students feel welcome right away, and keeping our events fun and engaging.

Why ISA?
I chose to serve on the ISA Executive Board this year because I am passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive community for international students at UMaine. As someone who understands the challenges of adapting to a new culture and environment, I want to help others feel supported, connected, and valued. This year, I hope ISA can grow its presence on campus, foster stronger cross-cultural relationships, and host events that celebrate the rich diversity of our student body. My goal is to ensure every international student feels at home and empowered to share their culture with pride.
