Alumni Visits!
Brothers Tega and Ruona Dibie stopped by Coffee Hour for a surprise visit! Tega earned a Bachelor’s degree in August 2014 and returned to UMaine in the Fall 2015 to pursue a Master’s degree in Spatial Information Science & Engineering. Ruona earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in December 2015, and returned in 2017 to pursue a Master’s degree, also in Computer Engineering. Their older brother, Ovo Dibbie, who also attended UMaine, will need to come visit soon!
Along with them came Gbolahan Olayinka who attended UMaine 2017-2018 before going to George Washington University, and Oluwajoba “Joba” Adeyemi who attended UMaine in 2017-2018 before going to Iowa to finish his degree.
Also visiting was Coraly Igiraneza, a 2021 graduate. While at UMaine she studied Political Science, Sociology and Economics and was an active participant in the International Dance Festival. She is now living and working in the Boston area.
Asif Sharazi also stopped by for a visit. He completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering in December 2018 and worked in Georgia for a few years before returning to work in Northern Maine a few months ago. We’re so glad to have him back in our great state! We love seeing you, so please stop by and visit soon!
