Forest-related technologies include innovations that use forest-derived materials, enhance forest management, or strengthen the forest products value chain. This encompasses advanced wood products, bioplastics, biofuels, and the upcycling of waste materials from lumber, pulp, and paper processes. It also includes the application of digital technologies such as AI, machine learning, and data analytics to improve areas like forest inventory, supply chain optimization, predictive maintenance, and environmental monitoring.
