Coordinated Operating Research Entities (CORE) Showcase

Coordinated Operating Research Entities (CORE) will hold a Resource Showcase at the Innovative Media Research and Commercialization (IMRC) Center from 3:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10th, as part of UMaine Research’s Maine Impact Week. The showcase will be free and open to the general public and span across the labs, adaptive workspaces, and presentation environments of the IMRC Center located in Stewart Commons. UMaine CORE projects and research will be featured, and CORE technicians, lab managers, and administration will be on-site and available to discuss all things CORE, answer research and resource questions, and engage with learners. Stop by and see the wide range of resources available through UMaine CORE.

University of Maine Coordinated Operating Research Entities

CORE serves as UMaine’s central repository for major research equipment and facilities for the purpose of advancing research and development. CORE enables internal and external users to have easy access to state-of-the-art technology and services delivered by experts on a fee-for-service basis. CORE-affiliated facilities include the Small Animal Research Facility (SARF), Zebrafish Laboratory, Freezer Program, DNA Sequencing Center, Environmental DNA (eDNA) Service Center, Electron Microscopy Laboratory (EML), Microfabrication Cleanroom Facility, Innovative Media Research and Commercialization (IMRC) Center, Advanced Research Computing, Data Security, and Information Management (ARCSIM), and Technical & Administrative Services Central (TASC).
