Program/Department: School of Economics – MS Economics
Why did you decide to become a GSG senator?: I believe this role provides an opportunity to support and advocate for the needs of graduate students within the department and across campus.
How would you best serve your constituents?: I am passionate about fostering a dynamic and engaging environment where graduate students can collaborate to enhance the growth of the club and ensuring our collective voice is heard. The graduate school senate provides a valuable platform to strengthen the communication between students and university leadership, and I am eager to serve as a liaison between my department and the Graduate Student Government.
Please tell us about your research or some fun facts about you: My research interests cut across environmental economics, development economics and applied econometrics. I am particularly interested in the economics of GHG mitigation and climate change.
How do you plan on communicating with your constituents?: I will communicate key updates during our club meetings and through emails
