Hobbies/Fun facts: I study the innate immune responses to influenza in zebrafish with concurrent hyperinflammation. When I am not making zebrafish sick, I take pictures while dragging my husband and occasionally two dogs around.
Why did you choose to become a GSG senator? I enjoy being involved in student government, especially as it can provide me a platform to make changes. I do not have much time available to me during a week between lab work, training, and volunteering. I thought becoming a senator would be the best chance for me to serve the student body since most other positions require a large time commitment.
How do you plan on communicating with your constituents? Keeping them up to date on important information as it becomes available and working to keep everyone safe during these trying times.
