Why did you decide to become a GSG senator?: I decided to become a GSG senator because I believe in the power of advocacy to drive institutional change.
How would you best serve your constituents?: I want to understand what matters most to the graduate student community and make sure those priorities are reflected in the decisions I help shape. My goal is to advocate with students, not just for them.
Please tell us about your research or some fun facts about you: My academic focus centers on reimagining systems so that accessibility is built in as a standard, not treated as an afterthought or accommodation. I’m especially passionate about applying this work to housing, because I believe everyone deserves a safe, comfortable, and dignified place to live.
Outside of academia, I enjoy trying new gluten-free products, building LEGO sets, and growing cherry tomatoes in the summer.
How do you plan on communicating with your constituents?: I’m committed to keeping communication accessible and open. I value feedback, so please don’t hesitate to let me know how I can improve or better support you.
