Esther Olabamire
Esther Damilola Olabamire is pursuing a graduate degree in Data Science and Engineering with a focus on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine here at UMaine. Prior to Esther’s enrollment, she worked as a molecular biologist in a genetic research laboratory at University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. In this position, she worked with the team “Men of African Descent and Carcinoma of the Prostate (MADCAP) Network”, where she was engaged with the collection and with the processing of blood samples from the recruited prostate cancer patients.
