- Southern Bangor & Aroostook Trail Presque Isle and Houlton, ME
- The 37-mile trail runs mostly through farmland and occasionally goes into forests and wetlands. It is part of a 1,200-mile network of thoroughfares for ATVs in the county, the largest east of the Mississippi River.

- This became Maine’s first state park in 1939 after interested citizens of Presque Isle donated 100 acres of land to the State of Maine. Today, the park has almost 800 acres and offers activities such as camping, canoeing, hiking, and more.

- Annual event the weekend before Labor Day weekend. It offers a weekend of hot air balloons, kids events, and other family-friendly fun. This event celebrates 1978, the Double Eagle II launching from Presque Isle and making the first successful crossing of the Atlantic.

Hiking

- A 28.8-mile trail that is part of the Interconnected Trail System, and allows for ATVs, horseback riding, mountain biking, snowmobiling, walking, and cross country skiing.

Historic

- This one-room schoolhouse was built in 1917 and used until 1948. It is now a museum with much of the original tin wall covering, school desks, instruction books, and bell still in place. The school is now also used for picnics, meetings, weddings, family gatherings, and educational activities.
