Tessa Shanteler

Tessa is a Energy Efficiency Campus Specialist from Salem, New Hampshire. She is a first year student at the University of Maine double majoring in Ecology and Environmental Sciences and Wildlife Ecology. Growing up with a Mom as a science teacher and a Dad who loves camping and the outdoors, Tessa has always had a soft spot for nature. Tessa found her love for sustainability while traveling around her home state and realizing that few people care for the environment in the way that she does. She is majoring in Ecology and Environmental Science to make a change in the way that people interact with our Environment, and she is involved with MPES to help educate people on what they can be doing to live sustainably and use energy more efficiently!
