USAC Advising Guides

Major

A

Accounting

Students usually go abroad for a semester in their junior year, but opportunities are available for sophomores and first-semester seniors. Summer programs and internships are available as well. To take accounting classes, students will largely want to consider programs in English-speaking countries or universities where all courses are taught in English. USAC offers a variety of locations for Accounting. *Please be aware that some accounting coursework will be specific to the systems native to that country and may not be applicable to American accounting systems and laws.*

Animal and Veterinary Sciences

Students can go abroad for a summer term to complete major courses and general education requirements. A variety of programs are offered – traditional classroom-style instruction, courses accompanied by a lab component, and intensive research field-based programs.
