Gilman Scholarship Applications Due
The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program enables students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. To be eligible for the Gilman Program, applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant during the time of application or provide proof that they will be receiving a Pell Grant during the term of their study abroad program or internship. Global Perspectives for Humanities Scholarship Application Due
The fund was established at the University of Maine Foundation in 2018. It’s meant to benefit the University of Maine, Orono, Maine with a gift from Tracey Graffam-Dickson ’93 a member of the Friends of the New England Universities of Salzburg – an Education Abroad Program established in 1979 at UMaine by Dr. Josef Roggenbauer, Professor Emeritus of German, Department of Modern Languages and Classics. Killam Scholarship Applications Due
Undergraduate scholarships for direct exchange and direct enroll programs at Canadian universities, awarding $5,000 per semester with a $500 (Canadian dollars) allowance to offset the cost of health insurance. Open to undergraduate students applying to a direct exchange program or open competition category at participating institutions in Canada. All materials must be submitted to Ali Friend in the Canadian-American Center at UMaine by January 10. Make an appointment with Ali at ali.friend@maine.edu.
