Graduate Alumni

Most of our graduate alums work in private companies (30 percent), universities/colleges (30 percent), government agencies (20 percent), or non-profit organizations (15 percent). They report strong job satisfaction and an annual median income of $100,000. They credit SOE’s strong focus on data analysis, econometrics, written and oral communication for their success. Many of our master’s students pursue a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field, with recent placements at Notre Dame, University of Houston, University of Connecticut and Virginia Tech—to name a few.
