Harsh Environment Sensors and Sensor Systems (2019 – present)

Part of a larger DOE EPSCOR grant, this research project aims to develop devices and circuits for wireless sensing applications in harsh industrial environments, including high temperature (>350oC). The first phase of this research uses existing commercially available off-the-shelf components with innovative integration solutions for proof-of-concept prototype demonstrations. The second phase will combine wide bandgap semiconductor device research with circuit design research.
