Research Misconduct Policies and Procedures

There are three stages of response to an allegation of Research Misconduct: Preliminary Assessment, Inquiry, and Investigation. Each of these stages are fully explained in the University of Maine Policy and Procedures for Responding to Allegations of Research Misconduct (Word). This policy applies to all research and scholarship conducted within the University community, irrespective of discipline or funding source, if any.
