FM provides free quotes for work requested by departments for which the initiating/receiving department will be charged. This type of work will become a Work Order, and applies to work such as building a bookcase, installing additional light switches, installing a new/replacement carpet, etc.

FM strongly recommends that your department request a quote for all such work so that we can identify all aspects of the work and account for all costs prior to the start of the work. If left unconsidered, issues arising from asbestos abatement, life safety codes, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other regulations/requirements, can seriously hamper the completion of the work in a timely and cost-effective manner. After we receive your request, a staff person will contact you to further discuss details and scope. All quotes are usually completed within a two-week period.
