All middle school students are encouraged to submit an application
2024 Maine Summer Transportation Application
It is the policy of the Maine NSTI program to encourage applications from students of diverse backgrounds.
Students must:
- be in the 6th, 7th, or 8th
- have an interest in Engineering, Science, Transportation, or Technology related career.
- provide at least one letter of recommendation.
- write a short essay (1,000 words or less) about why you want to participate in MSTI and how you feel participating can assist you in meeting your individual career goals.
- provide report card
What you will receive:
- Transportation Workshops and Handouts
- Facility Usage
- Lunch (students only)
- Equipment and Supplies
- Travel (Field Trips)
- Lab Fee (FREE)
- Recreation Fees (FREE)
