UMaine Facility Resources
The UMaine Orono campus is very large and many people work diligently to both maintain and improve its buildings and infrastructure. The University has made concentrated and deliberate efforts to reduce general and local environmental impacts from campus operations and activities. For example, many buildings on campus are designed to maximize energy efficiency and there are programs which manage University waste to minimize environmental harm.
