Role in Graduate Student Government? Officer for Outreach and Professional Development

The reason behind joining the GSG as an officer? I have been an active volunteer for many organizations on campus and believed that this is a position that will help serve graduate students and all student organizations better.

As an officer in the GSG how would you like to contribute in such a way that you improve the situation for graduate students? Creating opportunities for graduate students to develop their professional skills, have a wholesome life and engage in social activities is my goal for the year.

Long Term Career Goals? Find a spot in the world to make meaningful contributions to any group  I join and keep learning something new every day

Involvement in clubs and other organizations? Secretary for SAAM, graduate advisor for ISA, Vice President for Iota Nu Kappa, Volunteer for Office of International Programs, etc.

 Research at Umaine? As a Graduate Assistant for the Maine Business School, I have been part of research efforts of many professors and groups. Personally, I am interested in business analytics, artificial intelligence and people management as topics.
