Why did you choose to become a GSG senator? I enjoy being active in student government and advocating for my colleagues. I am also a busy body and like to collaborate and work through the issues we face as a student body.
How would you best serve your constituents? I aim to serve my department and colleagues by representing their interests within GSG, and voicing their concerns to the Executive Committee and Administration as necessary. I also aim to keep them up to date on events and happenings on our campus to encourage community, collaboration, and solidarity.
Please tell us about your research or some fun facts about you? I am an environmental archaeologist studying the effects of prehistoric El Niño on human-ecodynamics along the coast of Peru. Fun Fact: My research involves archaeo-ornithology, but I am actually ornithophobic.
Office: South Stevens Hall, Room 232C (currently taking meetings via Zoom)
