Role in Graduate Student Government: Treasurer

Reason behind joining the GSG as an officer: I joined the Graduate Student Government to help promote financial transparency, equitable resource allocation, and inclusive representation for graduate students. As treasurer, I aim to apply my accounting and analytics background to support responsible budgeting and strategic planning.

As an officer in the GSG, how would you like to contribute in such a way that you improve the situation for graduate students? I aim to streamline budget processes, advocate for fair funding, and enhance communication between GSG and the graduate student body. My goal is to ensure that financial decisions reflect the diverse needs and priorities of our community.

Long-Term Career Goals: To become a strategic leader in Accounting, Finance and Business Analytics, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance financial transparency, support ethical decision-making, and drive sustainable organizational growth.

Involvement in clubs and other organizations:

  • Maine Business School-Accounting Club

Hobbies: I enjoy reading about leadership and strategy, hiking, walking, listening to music, and engaging in meaningful conversations that spark new ideas.
