Workshop Description

Student success and retention rates are higher when librarians collaborate in partnership to provide librarian-led information literacy instruction for students. In this session, learn how librarians can increase opportunities for instruction when they develop specific course-connected information literacy instruction plans connected to the AASL Standards.

Participants will:

— Reflect on challenges and opportunities in their own practice for supporting students’ information literacy skills

— Connect library instruction and activities to the AASL Standards
