Ways to Register

The DLL Advising Center is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  After hour appointments available upon request. If possible, please have your course information ready so an academic advisor in the DLL Advising Center can assist you.


For Non-Degree Students

Note: Non-degree students taking a course for the first time will be charged a one-time fee of $25.

Register Online

Complete and submit the Registration Form online.

  • Graduate Level Courses –  Online Graduate Application.   This application contains modules for degree, certificate and non-degree students.

Walk-In Registration
We are located at 122 Chadbourne Hall on the UMaine campus.  We are open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

The University of Maine reserves the right to cancel course offerings, set minimum and maximum size of classes, change designated instructors in courses, and make decisions affecting the academic standing of anyone participating in a course or program offered by UMaine.


Additional Important Registration Information

Students who do not visit campus and are taking online classes may obtain a MaineCard with no photo required.  Access a form to apply for one through the MaineCard Service Center.
