Began Conservation Science NRT Program Fall 2023

I was drawn to the NRT’s focus on transdisciplinary collaboration and opportunities to work with partnered organizations on real-world problems. I also look forward to working closely with a mentor on further developing my academic research and writing skills through a graduate-level project.

I received a BA in Geography-Anthropology with a specialization in Sustainable Cultures and Communities and a minor in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine, and I’m currently pursuing an MA in Anthropology and Environmental Policy. I am interested in how human cultures construct their relationship with the environment through belief systems, cultural practices, and governance policy. My intent is to live and work in my beloved state of Maine using my skills as an anthropologist to promote a cross-cultural healing of our political, economic, and ecological systems.
