PUBLIC SKATE and STICK & PUCK at Alfond Arena: Alfond Arena is a Department of Athletics facility; Athletics and Campus Recreation simply work together to provide the Public Skate and Stick & Puck hours below. For more information about open recreation at Alfond Arena, call the recorded Skate Line at 581-1103. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR INFORMATION ABOUT TICKETS FOR ATHLETIC EVENTS, please call 581-BEAR for tickets to Athletic events.
Alfond Arena Punch Card – Buy 4 punches for $20 and get a 5th punch free! This is a $5 savings! Redeemable for any combination of Skate Sharpening, Public Skate, Stick and Puck, and/or Skate Rentals. Punch cards are available for purchase in the Alfond Arena Operations Office.
PUBLIC SKATE – Rec Passes and Maine Cards are not valid during the Summer months (June 1 through August 31). Sticks/Pucks are not allowed on the ice during Public Skate.
- ACADEMIC YEAR UMaine Students and Campus Recreation Members: FREE with Student ID or RecCard
- SUMMER & Non-Student/Non-Members Ages 6+: $5
- Ages 0-5: FREE with accompanying adult
