Andrew Goode

Dr.Goode has been with the University of Maine since 2012 and has worked for several research groups studying horseshoe crab population dynamics, marine virus ecology, sea lice behavior, and hydrographic variability of New England water masses. Andrew graduated from the University of Maine with his B.S. in Marine Science in 2016 and his Ph.D. in Oceanography in 2021. In 2015 Andrew joined the Brady lab where he began investigating fishery impacts on essential fish habitats, forecasting lobster landings, oceanographic changes due to ocean warming, and climate change influences on lobster populations. His goal is to better understand the factors controlling lobster populations, and to use this information to better anticipate and plan against climate change impacts to the resource and fishery.
