Israk Arafat

Israk Arafat is a Computer Science major at the University of Maine, serving as Director of Technology for the 2025–2026 academic year. In this role, he supports student government by maintaining and improving technical systems, assisting with live streaming senate meetings, and providing technology support across the office.

Beyond student government, Israk is Treasurer of the Bangladeshi Student Association and an active member of the Badminton and Table Tennis Clubs. He also contributes to the Computing Club, where he has worked on innovative software projects. Professionally, Israk brings experience as a Software Developer Engineer Intern at Tyler Technologies, along with prior internships in full-stack and frontend development.
